Theta Tau Educational Foundation
2017-18 Annual Campaign

Thank you for considering a gift.  Your generosity allows us to fulfill the Foundation's mission and serve our members as the Fraternity's growth continues apace. T heta Tau’s success and growth continue as campuses recognize the value of the programming we offer in community serviceprofessional development, and brotherhood. It also depends on the loyal support of alumni like you.  Our Fraternity has nearly doubled in the last 6 years - Theta Tau has nearly quadrupled in the last 10 years.  Our new members, many from new chapters without many alumni of their own – need your support more than ever – at least until the time that these fine Brothers become great engineers in their own right.

Thank you again for your consideration and generosity! Please allow us a bit of your time to provide a quick recap of the last 12 whirlwind months throughout this page and those pages linked from it.  The Fraternity's growth continues unabated as word spreads of the value and benefit of membership in Theta Tau. The largest element of this project is our magazine The Gear of Theta Tau, but a vast amount of additional historical material is also available.

All Academic Team
2018 Captains Named

At the close of the Fall 2017
semester, the Educational Foundation recognized >150 as members of its All Academic Team. One from each Region - 8 - was named Team Captain
based on GPA, but also
chapter and campus involvement.  This year's Captains had an average GPA of 3.94!
The Team Captains receive an honorarium from the Educational Foundation,
currently funded
through Annual Gifts.
A Team Captain from 2016 put it best:

Being a member of Theta Tau has helped me to become more academically focused, as I am constantly surrounded by other
engineering students who push each  other to do better.
My best academic semesters have been those I've had  since joining Theta Tau (Fall 2015 - 3.77, Spring 2016 - co-op,
Fall 2016 - 4.0).

- Sam Yellin, Purdue (2018)

The All Academic Team
completed its 4th
